Předkládaná studie se zabývá 2/7-koma středotónovým laděním, které odvodil Gioseffo Zarlino ve spise Le istitutioni harmoniche v roce 1558. Práce navazuje na studii Marka Lindleye (1997) a blíže se zabývá metodologickými problémy odvozování tohoto ladění. Je prokázáno, že Zarlino jednoznačně upřednostňoval proporční dělení syntonického komatu oproti dělení aritmetickému, proporčně aproximativnímu. Studie obsahuje rekonstrukci ladění a intervalové specifikace jednotlivých intervalů.

This study deals with 2/7-comma meantone temperament, proposed by Gioseffo Zarlino in Le istitutioni harmoniche (1558). The paper follows a study of Mark Lindley (1997) and further deals with methodological problems deriving this tuning. There is evidence that Zarlino clearly preferred proportional division of syntonic comma compared to the arithmetic division, proportionally aproximative. The study includes the reconstruction of tuning and interval of each range specification.
