První ročník Konference pozitivní psychologie CPPC 2012 se konal ve dnech 23. až 24.5. 2012 na Filozofické fakultě Masarykovy univerzity v Brně. Konference CPPC 2012 se zúčastnilo 185 účastníků z osmi států světa (Česká republika, Slovensko, Maďarsko, Rakousko, Polsko, Nizozemí, Norsko, USA). Svoje zvané přednášky předneslo šest zahraničních a šest tuzemských hostů, zastupujících různé výzkumné i aplikační oblasti pozitivní psychologie. Na konferenci CPPC 2012 dále zaznělo 18 orálních příspěvků ve čtyřech sekcích, prezentováno bylo 16 posterů. Proběhly tři předkonferenční workshopy. Součástí programu konference bylo také promítání dokumentárního filmu HAPPY.

The 1st Czech Positive Psychology Conference (CPPC 2012) was held in Brno, the Czech Republic, in May 23-24, 2012. There were 185 participants from eight countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Poland, The Netherlands, Norway, the USA). Six invited lectures were delivered by keynote speakers from the Czech Republic and six keynote speakers from abroad represented various research and application areas of positive psychology. There were also 18 oral presentations presented in four sessions, and 16 posters. All of the three pre-conference workshops (on Positive psychology interventions, Positive education, and Meaningfulness) were fully occupied. Lectures, workshops, poster session and discussions has featured the topical research as well as applications of positive psychology in variety of fields – from psychotherapy to education and coaching. The exclusive screening of the HAPPY movie was also part of the conference program.
