Popis Contemporary society is characterized by significant social and economic disparities that are spatially shaped by uneven distribution of human activities. The degree of accessibility to jobs, basic social services, health care or transport infrastructure differs significantly across space and thus contributes to spatial injustice. Since the achievement of homogeneous space in terms of equal access to basic services is practically impossible, the needs of understanding spatial justice emerge. Although justice and injustice issues are examined primarily in the context of urban agglomerations, question of spatial justice is strongly relevant at micro-regional scale as well. Paper discusses the concept of spatial justice by positioning it within current European debates on territorial cohesion and stresses crucial questions of difficulties in finding fuzzy and thin line between justice and injustice using specific micro-region as a case study.
