We have examined photo-catalytic properties of samples with a harsh surface. Two variants of MB (Methylene Blue) degradation test (ISO 10678), being performed on two different devices, gave comparable values of photonic efficiency of 3.3 x 10-3. The WCA (Water Contact Angle) test (ISO 27448) yielded an increasing trend of the WCA as a function of irradiation time.
