Dates and details
The study field Public Policy and Human Resources (taught in Czech) focuses on the development of knowledge and skills in contemporary approaches and methods of social intervention into public and social policies. Institutions that carry out these interventions and the measures and tools used are studied as well. Students thus gain a complete picture of the development of the public and social policies including the background. They are instructed in the sphere of preparation and implementation of the policies, especially at the labour market, and about services and programs organisations offer to their employess, and about the control mechanisms. The contemporary legal provisions of social policy are indispensable part of the curricula. Methods of research contribute to the practical work on/with social problems and issues within the whole societal context. The Bachelor-level study field Public Policy and Human Resources can be studies in combinations with Environmental Studies, Gender Studies, Media Studies and Journalism, Political Science, Social Anthropology, Social Work, Sociology, and Economic Policy (at the Faculty of Economics).
