Field of studyStatistics and Data Analysis

(only in Czech)The field of study of Statistics and Data Analysis is focused on studying the mathematical-statistical methods for data processing, their computer implementation and on the methods of computer processing of huge data sets. Students choose optional courses according to their diploma theses and thus they determine their specialization within the study field. The aim of the study is to provide the students with the basis of mathematical statistics, programming languages, database systems and modern methods of data processing and signal filtering. Moreover, students will be given the knowledge necessary for statistical data analysis and computer processing which are used in different areas of human activities.
