Investigation of persistent and mobile organic compounds in municipal wastewaters using passive sampling

The project deals with the investigation of persistent and mobile organic compounds (PMOC) in municipal wastewaters. There is a gap in the monitoring of PMOC in the water environment because currently there is a lack of methods for their extraction and analysis in water. The recently developed Gradient Time Integrative Passive Sampler (G-TIPS) is a promising sampling tool of PMOC and its performance and potential application will be further investigated in laboratory and field experiments.
