Understanding of Trust in the Political Institution with regard to a Voter Turnout: the Case of the Czech Senate

Recent research of the Czech Senate elections has shown that turnout is closely linked to political trust in the elected institution. This work aims to provide a deeper understanding of political trust in a particular institution, to find the factors that affect this trust, especially with regard to the implications for a voter turnout. A method of semi-structured interviews conducted with the sample of citizens who were eligible to participate in the Senate 2020 elections is employed.
