Insect protein; The prospect of creating economic and environmental values through automation of the breeding process

The proposed project is dealing with the automation of the rearing of insect Tenebrio molitor (TM). The project’s main objectives are to exploit the prospect of automation of larvae breeding, the nutritional value of larvae obtained during the process, and its safety as food for humans and fodder for farm aminals. We will also examine TM’s mass production’s economic aspect, feasibility study for selected markets will be conducted.
