| Popis | This work offers the first commentary on the new Austrian Pfandbrief Act (PfandBG) and thus the first comprehensive presentation of the system. The new Pfandbrief Act came into force in Austria in July 2022 and replaced the three previous frameworks – HypBG, PfandbriefG and FBSchVG. In the European context, the Pfandbrief Act is intended to provide a stable source of refinancing for affordable mortgage and municipal loans on the one hand, and a secure form of investment on the other. |
