Guidelines for GA CR tender for 2027
Standard and international projects, POSTDOC INDIVIDUAL FELLOWSHIP and Restart Grants
with a tender deadline of March 31, 2026
EKV accepts applications for project assessment until Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
It is necessary to meet the deadline, applications submitted after this deadline will not be assessed!
Applications will be assessed en masse after the submission deadline. In the event that serious deficiencies are found in the project proposal that can be eliminated, the investigators will be contacted immediately.
If you have any questions or uncertainties during the preparation of your application, please do not hesitate to contact the secretary of the committee as soon as possible.
The application for assessment is submitted via the INET – ISEP information system - Project Proposal Editor application, more information on the EKV website.

To assess the ethical aspects of the project, please submit the following documents:
- Application for the assessment of the EKV project (current form can be downloaded here)
- text of consent to participate in research (use the recommended template of consent to participate in research here) or informed consent of the cooperating medical facility
- Letter of Commitment - if you plan to cooperate with a medical facility that is not a co-applicant within the project, please submit a proof of cooperation "Letter of Commitment" (draft text can be downloaded here). You can provide it within the extended deadline until Thursday 19/03/2026 – please provide information about additional proof in ISEP - Ethics – Additional Information tab.
- When filling in the ISEP/Ethics tab, please indicate the expert evaluation panel (P###) to which the project will be submitted.

Please be aware of the following information:
- For the purpose of submitting a project proposal to the GA CR tender, the committee issues a preliminary approval of the project, which will be available for download in ISEP in the Documents tab for individual proposals no later than Friday 27 March 2026 in the afternoon.
- In accordance with MU Directive No. 5/2015, the EKV recommends submitting for assessment all projects implemented at MU if MU will work with human participants and/or biological material of human origin, regardless of MU's role in the project (applicant/co-applicant).
- As part of the assessment for the preliminary approval of the project, it will be necessary to settle any serious comments of the committee on the design of the research within the tender period. Other comments, if they arise, will be summarized in the form of an Addendum to the Preliminary Approval and their settlement will take place after the announcement of the results of the tender in the case of financial support for the project and will be a condition for granting the final approval. The addendum will be inserted together with the preliminary approval into the ISEP tab Documents in the Project Proposal Editor and the investigator will be informed about the insertion of the document.
- If significant differences are found between the originally discussed project proposal and the supported version, the project will be discussed again in full with the risk that in the event of serious reservations of the committee, the project will not be ethically approved and the final approval of the project will not be issued.
