Scope of Responsibility of the Finance Office
The Finance Office provides central services in the following areas:
- financial management, accounting and taxes
- university budgeting and financial planning
- economic information systems and banking operations
In addition, the Department is responsible for the following functions:
- cooperation in the conduct of external audits
- financial control methodology
- asset registration and accounting methodology
- cost calculation methodology
- development of the university budget preparation rules
- institutional economic reporting
- administration of substitute performance
- coordination and preparation of the annual financial report
- methodology for the application of overhead costs
