Fees and scholarships
Fees
Studies in doctoral degree programmes are tuition free with the exception of programmes accredited in a language other than Czech, in which case a student is classified as a self-payer and enters into a contract with the faculty. The fee amount depends on the faculty and field of study.
Scholarships
Full-time doctoral degree programme students who have not exceeded the standard length of studies are entitled to a scholarship in accordance with MU scholarship and bursary regulations.
Although the scholarship amount differs by faculty, a university-wide minimum scholarship amount is also determined by the Rector on an annual basis. For 2018, the minimum scholarship in support of studies in doctoral degree programmes has been established at 12,000 CZK. Individual faculties may offer additional scholarships. Information on such scholarships is available on faculty websites.
