Means of authentication of the signatures and stamps occurring on the original of the diploma

  • A – Authentication of an university diploma by a so-called Apostille in compliance with the Hague Convention (The authenticity of signatures and stamps on a diploma verified by a competent authority of the state which is the seat of the higher education institution that has issued the document).
  • B – Authentication of an university diploma is not required (because of existence of a bilateral agreement, concerning mutual legal assistance).
  • L – Authentication of an university diploma by a so-called super-legalization (The authenticity of signatures and stamps on a diploma verified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the state which is the seat of the higher education institution that has issued the document (or its authorized foreign body), followed by the verification of the respective Czech representative office (embassy) based in the foreign country).

Note: The specified means of authentication of the signatures and stamps are also applicable for foreign certificates of foreign secondary education if Masaryk University requires these documents.
