About course

  • Understand the competence profile of the B2 level of Italian as a foreign language.
  • Identify and correctly deal with elements of morphology and syntax corresponding to the B2 level of Italian as a foreign language.
  • Recognize and appropriately use grammatical structures and vocabulary of Italian in both formal and informal communicative contexts.

Employment prospects

A certificate in Italian at the B2 level is typically required when applying to universities in Italy. Both Italian and international companies and institutions require a foreign language certificate as proof of the achieved level of language competence according to the CEFR. Although our students of Italian obtain a B.A. or M.A. degree upon completing their studies, this degree does not correspond to a language certificate confirming their knowledge or skills in the language.
