Course of the Modern Greek Language - Intermediate I (in Czech)

The course is designed to help participants acquire a more advanced level of Greek and be able to hold conversations in the language in the present, future and past tenses. Topics such as travel are developed further and new ones are introduced (getting around the city, weather, health, etc.). Students work with modern conversational textbooks, with an emphasis on communicative competence; however, all core skills are practised — listening and reading comprehension as well as spoken and simple written expression. As part of the language instruction, participants also gain insight into Greek culture and contemporary life, building an overall awareness of Greece today.

The course is open to the general public.  Applicants who are not graduates of the course for pre-intermediate (within the MU Lifelong Learning programme) should complete the online placement test and contact Nicole Votavová Sumelidisová.
