DOPLNIT (in Czech)
The course is designed so that participants acquire an advanced level of Modern Greek and are able to hold conversations in the language across present, future, and past time frames. Topics covered include sport, the arts, employment, and others. Students work with modern conversational textbooks, with emphasis placed on communicative competence; however, all core skills are practised — listening and reading comprehension as well as spoken and written expression. As part of the language instruction, participants also become acquainted with Greek culture and contemporary life, building an overall awareness of what Greece looks like today.
The course is open to the general public. Applicants who are not graduates of the course for advanced (within the MU Lifelong Learning programme) should complete the online placement test and contact Nicole Votavová Sumelidisová.Terms
