Faculty newsletter for alumni

We invite you to Humanities Week

Dear Alumni,

We traditionally celebrate World Philosophy Day in autumn with a week of lectures, workshops and exhibitions. This year's theme, Having the Courage to Know, commemorates the 300th anniversary of the birth of German philosopher Immanuel Kant and is inspired by his statement in the text What is Enlightenment. I invite you to a series of exciting and inspiring encounters that will take you into the fascinating world of the humanities. This can be an excellent opportunity to deepen your knowledge and learn about how our faculty is developing and what new paths and topics it is opening up.

We look forward to seeing you!

Zdeňka Jastrzembská
Vice-Dean for Admissions and Public Relations
