With two campuses, a botanical garden, numerous labs and research centres, and a polar station in Antarctica, the Faculty of Science has a lot to offer to its students. Collaborating with other Brno’s universities at the CEITEC research centre, the faculty focuses on jump-starting the scientific career of its students and researchers.
Serbian student Tijana Joksić visited Brno for the first time when she came to see her boyfriend who had moved to work for a local IT company. She was so impressed by the student city, its architecture, and the modern facilities of Masaryk University that she immediately started looking if the university offers her field of study.
Japanese students Yumeka Takagi and Yuki Takada met and started dating while studying at the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University. Now they have both switched to the Faculty of Pharmacy, where they are enjoying their studies very much.
She always thought that studying for a Master’s degree abroad would cost her a fortune. But Masaryk University and the Czech Republic had a surprise in store for Indian student Sandhiya Suresh.
The Faculty of Education at Masaryk University has been sending its students to Texas for more than 17 years. This year, for the first time, thanks to a new joint course, American students also came to Brno.

Entering exams will occur by online interview. The term will be determined by the Faculty headquarters. Successful applicants have to prove basic orientation in the field of molecular and cell biology at the Bachelor level (see details here).
