With two campuses, a botanical garden, numerous labs and research centres, and a polar station in Antarctica, the Faculty of Science has a lot to offer to its students. Collaborating with other Brno’s universities at the CEITEC research centre, the faculty focuses on jump-starting the scientific career of its students and researchers.

Student from Moldova learns to create computer games at MU
Ten students from Moldova get the chance to study at Czech universities every year thanks to government scholarships designed to support students from developing countries. One of them is Andrei Burlac, who is currently studying at the MU Faculty of Informatics.

I was pleasantly surprised by MU and Brno, says Canadian student
Inga Palsson studied psychology in Montreal, but she was not very keen on it, so she was wondering about going to study in Europe. In the end, she chose the English Language and Literature programme at MU, where she could study literature and linguistics at the same time, which she found very interesting.

Admission requirements
Entering exams will occur by online interview. The term will be determined by the Faculty headquarters. Successful applicants have to prove basic orientation in the field of molecular and cell biology at the Bachelor level (see details here).
