University measures taken regarding COVID-19
- MU is operating following the university traffic-light system. The risk assessment level is currently WHITE. It is not compulsory to wear respirators in all MU buildings.
- All covid-19 policies related to entering the country have been suspended. See also current restrictions in the Czech Republic.

MU is operating following the university traffic-light system. The university currently has a “WHITE LIGHT” rating, determined by the MU Crisis Board. University faculties, institutes, and offices may declare a higher alert level than the university-wide level or introduce stricter rules than elsewhere at the university. Follow the websites of individual faculties and the colour-coded signs hanging on the exteriors of MU buildings.

MU brings Mendel to EXPO 2020 in Dubai
Masaryk University presents Gregor Johann Mendel, the founder of genetics, at the Mystery of Knowledge exhibition as part of EXPO 2020 in Dubai. The presentation will be on display in the “rotating” exhibition room in the Czech Pavilion from 1 to 15 March 2022.

MU will move to white level, classroom capacity restrictions to end
On Monday, 7 March, the university traffic-light system will move from green to white. The only restrictions that will apply at the university are those established by the government.

MU Polar Station in Antarctica celebrates 15 years since opening
The Czech polar station, built between 2004 and 2006 on the remote James Ross Island in Antarctica by its operator, Masaryk University, will mark the 15th anniversary of its official inauguration.
