The ESSE Conference 2018 is the 14th conference of the European Society for the Study of English (ESSE). The conference is organized by the Czech Association for the Study of English (CZASE) in cooperation with the Department of English and American Studies of the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University. The CZASE, as a member of ESSE, has been entrusted with the task of organising this 14th conference, where several hundred English Studies scholars will be presenting their contributions to current topics in the field of the literature and culture of English-speaking countries, English linguistics, English didactics and translation studies. This is a prestigious European conference in which many social scientists from outside Europe will also take part.
