The Seminar Series: V) Languages in Education

The Seminar Series in Social Sciences and Humanities are organized by Faculties of Masaryk University in order to bring together the multiplicity of disciplines the Social Sciences and Humanities offer. But not only the Social Sciences and Humanities. The course is offered to all Ph.D. candidates at the Masaryk University, but the number of attendants is limited to 80.

V) Eva Vetter: Languages in Education
Univ.-Prof. Mag. Dr. Eva Vetter is a Professor at the Center for Research into Language Teaching and Learning and Vice-head of Center for Teacher Education at the University of Vienna. She is also President of the Austrian Association of Applied Linguistics (VERBAL). Eva Vetter is the author of various publications focusing on specific aspects of multilingualism, e.g. minority languages in France, language awareness of teachers, and teaching and learning languages in multilingual contexts. Her research interests also include discourse analysis and language policy.
