The Gypsywood Players will be presenting its current show, Interplanetary Fake News: The Space Alien Invaders Comedy, for one final Brno performance. This original comedy, developed and written by the students themselves, is loosely inspired by the infamous Orson Welles War of the Worlds radio broadcast of 1938 -- as well as later anniversary re-enactments which, like the original, frightened some listeners into thinking that an actual Martian invasion was in progress. It is Gypsywood's comical contribution to the great current debates over "fake news."
