Publications of Masaryk University placed well in a competition
Czech association of translators and interpreters selects each year best new dictionaries and encyclopaedias. Publications of Masaryk University Press are among them.
Latinitas medica, lexicon of not only medical sentences, quotations and idioms, placed second in category of explanatory dictionaries and Musical-literary dictionary of musical works inspired by literary art placed second in category of biographic dictionaries.
There were 62 dictionaries and encyclopaedias registered in the competition this year. The jury composed of translators, interpreters and other experts from Czech and Slovak republic had chosen the best of them.
All dictionaries and encyclopaedias will be displayed at 18th International Book Fair and Literary Festival BOOK WORLD this May.
