Exhibition: I want to go home... Trials of the so-called Greek monarcho-fascists in Czechoslovakia in the 1950s

Part of the migration waves of adult Greeks to our territory following the Civil War (1946-1949) was also a group of prisoners of the so-called democratic army, later called monarcho-fascists. They were kept under constant surveillance by the state authorities, to become victims of trials in 1953, which were staged by the communist regime of the time. The exhibition reflects on the course of the trials and the fate of its actors.

Music Culture in Czechoslovakia and Its Ruins 1934–1944

58th International Musicological Colloquium Brno aims to capture this multifaceted and substantial transformation of Czechoslovak musical culture caused by the consequences of the Munich Agreement, the secession of the Slovak State and the establishment of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia on the ruins of the former Czechoslovak Republic, which had a profound effect on cultural and music life.

Growing Old and Making New Human Eggs In Vitro Growth and In Vitro Derivation

Professor Evelyn Telfer from the University of Edinburgh has long been involved in developing culture protocols to obtain eggs from primordial follicles. Is it possible to get a fertile oocyte in vitro? Will it be possible to "produce" a human egg in the laboratory? Come and listen to her lecture.
