Women in the Age 4.0

The conference wants to look at the changing role of women in the labour market in Central and Eastern Europe. We believe that thanks to technology we can improve the position of women at work in the areas such as career planning, work flexibility, balance between professional and private life, support to career development and womenʼs advancement to top management positions.

Good practice examples from the Czech Republic and Slovakia will show how the issue is viewed by purely technological and manufacturing companies and also by the academic world. We will get inspired by the experience shared by representatives of Sweden and the United Kingdom.

The conference is intended for employers and companies — in particular for their HR and CSR managers, for representatives of public administration and local authorities, universities,
professional and educational organizations, media and others.

Discussion will include:

  • Pavlína Kalousová, President of Business for Society
  • Michal Kišša, CEO at Business Leaders Forum and Programme Director at Pontis Foundation
  • Anna Viktoria Li, Ambassador of the Swedish Kingdom to the Czech Republic
  • Lucy Hughes, Deputy Head of Mission,Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
