Horrorroperras of the Elbe River

The cycle entitled Talking Cattle and Mysterious Bones was written by the court diversionary authors composer Ondřej Kyas and librettist Pavel Drábek based on the short stories by Hubert Krejčí and Aleš Roleček, based on the haunting legends and tales of Pardubice, Polabí and especially the mysterious Kunětice Mountain. A black dancing master, a laughing head, a talking cow, the singing Elbe, Božena Němcová, a Pardubice coolie, an evil stepmother, and a deranged peasant - that's the cast of horror opera in a nutshell, which you can experience with goosebumps and terror in your eyes on 13 September in the courtyard of the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University.

The event is part of the celebration of the centenary of the beginning of teaching at the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University.
