The university remains at the green level of risk

The Crisis Board decided to keep a higher degree of risk for the entire university due to the fact that students and academics from all over the Czech Republic are heading to MU and also due to sporadic cases of infection.

Most of EU foreigners may enter the country without any restriction

From this week, most of EU foreigners may enter the Czech Republic without any restrictions. Negative test for coronavirus or compulsory quarantine is required for foreigners coming from Sweden, Portugal, Belgium, UK and Silesian Voivodeship in Poland.

All MUNI canteens will reopen from Monday 25 May

From Monday, 25 May, all MU catering services will reopen. There will be also a new offer of meals on the menu, but it is still necessary to order meals in the reservation system in advance. New: meals can now be ordered 14 days in advance. The ordering obligation does not apply to weekly menu.

Some gyms and sports grounds on MUNI are opening

For the period from 18 May 18 to 26 June, some sports grounds of Masaryk University have reopened for students. Graduations will not take place at MUNI until the end of August

For preventive reasons, graduations will not be held at Masaryk University until the end of August. The proceedings after 1 September will already be the responsibility of the deans of the individual faculties. The issue of replacing cancelled spring and summer dates will also depend on the decisions of the faculties, please inquire at your Office for Studies.
