The aim of our project is to verify interesting and apparently absurd phenomenon why hot water freezes faster than cold water (Mpemba phenomenon). The condition of Mpemba phenomenon observation are not up to now well established. Our experimental work will be comparatively simple: we will freeze various kinds of water (soft, hard, distilled, deionised) in a freezer and measure their temperature dependent on time.
