| Description | The present volume is devoted to the past and the present of Czech Polish studies as they are demonstrated by its contributors, the Czech specialists in Polish studies or rather by those working in the Czech Republic at universities where the Polish studies are being cultivated (Praha, Brno, Olomouc, Ostrava). Each individual subject is based both on the Czech-Polish relational dimension and on the traditions of the scholarly discipline as well as on the new discourses dictated by new social conditions: they might concern scholarly methodology, teaching approaches and the key problems manifested in Polish studies in the spheres of linguistics, literary criticism and area studies. |
