Description Central nervous system tumors (CNS) account 20-25% of all malignancies in children under 15 years of age. They are the main cause of death in pediatrie oncology patients. Approximately 30% of CNS tumors occur under 5 years of age, 70-75% are found under 10 years of age. 60% are found in posterior fossa: medulloblastoma, low-grade astrocytoma, ependymoma. The article is directed to intraventricular tumors in children using neuroimaging.
