| Description | COMBOI-ADC is a prototype of high-speed 4-channel A/D card for digitalization of analog output of spectrometric detectors. COMBOI-ADC can be used in standalone mode or it can be installed in a PC as add-on card for COMBO-LXT mother card. The card consists of Virtex-6 (XC6VLX75T) and two A/D converters ADC12D1000 with sampling rate up to 1 Gsps (Giga-Samples Per Second). The data transfers are realized through PCI Express x8 generation 1 (PC installation with COMBO-LXT mother card) or over 10 gigabit ethernet network (COMBOI-ADC standalone installation). COMBOI-ADC prototype was manufactured, tested and is now used by Masaryk University. |
