| Description | Construction sector has experienced significant decline in recent years, especially since the beginning of economic crises in year 2008. This situation forces managers of construction enterprises to rethink basic approaches to corporate strategy and business management, and to reflect on those who have benefit from the situation and vice versa whom the situation causes the most harm. The article as a partial output from the implemented project "Development of small and medium enterprises in the border areas (M00200)," provides information on the preliminary results of the survey conducted among construction enterprises in the South Moravian Region. Research project focused precisely on the sector of construction enterprises and its development after the year 2008, with specific emphases on the potentials arising from cooperation with Austrian enterprises in border area is being implemented on the ground of Faculty of Economic and Administration Masaryk University in cooperation with FH Wien and Regional Chamber of Commerce of South Moravia. |
