Description We regard social dialog and collective bargaining as an important part of modern welfare state which have an impact on labour market, level of wages, working conditions, safety at workplace, certainty of job and large number of other items. Collective contracts are outputs of this program process. The objective of this study is to answer following general question: What is the coverage of target population by collective contracts at manufacturing sector of Czech economy? The target population we define as employees in unionized companies. Our expectation is that there will be any differences between coverage of all economy, both public and private sector and manufacturing sector. The evaluation approach is used in this study, especially implementation evaluation. The specific character of manufacturing could have an influence on set of issues of collective bargaining.
