| Description | The purpose of the presented text is an introduction of different psychotherapeutic case formulation models. First the case formulation concept is defined and its basic qualities and purpose are delineated. Then the text introduces specific aspects of case formulation as viewed by different psychotherapy approaches, and models declaring their usefulness for more than one specific approach. Mentioned models are then put into context of a set of categories offering overview of content and formal aspects of case formulations. The categories differentiating concepts and definitions of case formulations are: theory origination, central element, symptomatology, approach to planning, recipient and context of profession. |
