| Description | Car accidents from the forensic medicine point of view The authors present the issue of car accidents from the forensic medicine point of view. First the work of forensic medicine doctor and the forensic medicine department is described, focused mainly on the car accidents issue. Main part of the lecture is dealing with forensic medicine findings in car accidents – injuries to the pedestrians, driver and passengers travelling in the vehicles and on the motorcycles. Also the participation of alcohol and drugs is discussed. At the end of the lecture case reports with picture documentation are shown to demonstrate different types of accidents. |
