Description Among total of 171,850 lung cancer cases recorded in the Czech Cancer Registry between 1976 and 2005, 15,331 multiple malignancies were found, involving 3,904 primary lung cancer cases (3,245 males, and 659 females) and 11,427 subsequent cases (8,744 males and 2,683 females). The analysis showed an increased rate of advanced stages and a decreased rate of early stages in patients with primary lung cancers as well as those with subsequent primary neoplasms during this three decades.
