| Description | This article analyzes changes in Czech energy policy documents from the perspectives of strategic and market-oriented approach which are the two dominant theoretical viewpoints in the field of energy security. The intention was to identify how were these approaches reflected in State energy policy of 2004 and its latest recodification from 2012/2013. Simultaneously, the article assessed the documents and identified whether there is a tendency to shift the basics of this policy from strategic (state-oriented) to market- oriented approach.
