| Description | The aim of the paper was to examine the chamber tombs of the Platěnice culture from the area of Moravia. Attention was given to the form of graves, grave offerings, location of these graves in the burial grounds, and also to their presence in the territory of the Platěnice culture. By their mutual comparison as well as comparison with other graves from the milieu of the Platěnice culture, I tried to find the answer whether such graves could be considered as the burials of elites. |
