| Description | The book Concepts and Scientific Theories focuses on the way our theories are undermined by our parcelling out the external world, while the way we use concepts to parcel out it is undermined by the theories we prefer. We put forward certain approach to language and concepts – pioneered by the Czech logician and philosopher Pavel Tichý – and demonstrate how to solve some problems of the theory of science. |
