Description The decreasing of mortality in the most of cancer diagnoses resulted in prolongation of length of life and higher prevalence. Pankreas cancer is also this case. In 1989-2005 numbers of prevalence in the Czech Republic increased: - From 431 (8.6/100 000) na 629 (12.6/100 000) men. It is 46% increase. - From 355 (6.7/100 000) na 637 (12.2/100 000) women. It is 80% increase. More than 1400 patients is predicted in 2015, 850 (60%) from them in age 35-64.
