Description In connection with price-making there are some limits for certain commodities. These limits are the exception to the principle of price-making by agreement. This limitation is called as price regulation which can be defined as the determination of commodity prices by competent executors of public administration. It is authoritative regulation by laying down rules for determining the price for a commodity. The administrative acts of price regulation can infringe national and international legal regulation. The illegality of the administrative acts of price regulation causes interference in subjective rights of their addressees. The paper deals with the control of the administrative acts issued for the purpose of price regulation as a guarantee of legality for the public administration in this area. This control provides not only protection of subjective rights of the addressees but also protection of economic efficiency of the public administration in this area, because simultaneously the administrative acts of price regulation infringing legality threatens the economic efficiency of public administration in which they are issued.
