| Description | Water areas – both natural and artificial – performs many important functions. This paper is dedicated to one of them, namely the water areas as the significant landscape elements in terms of legal regulation. The aim of paper is an assessment of the merits or shortcomings of the legislation on the basis of the analysis of the legal means of protection of significant landscape elements in general and within the water areas. Finally, they are formulated any recommendations de lege ferenda based on this analysis. |
