| Description | The contribution presents an analysis of EU legislative acts ensuring the independent status of regulatory administrative authorities and simultaneously defines different ways of independency of these authorities. Also the European Court of Justice has declared that independency. Currently in the Czech Republic the independent status of regulatory authorities is threatened by an amendment of the Civil Service Act, which may endanger their economic, personal and operational independency. For the reason of legal certainty for these institutions, we consider defining a solid position in the legislation and declaring their independency by law. |
