| Description | In the chapter the transformation of social assistance scheme in the Czech Republic within the context of labour market policies during 2000-2010 is analysed. First, the key steps of the activation reform, and recent reforms enacted as a reaction to the financial and economic crisis are characterised. Second, key factors that have influenced the reforms are examined and finally, the nature of the reform within the overall development of the Czech welfare state is assessed. |
