| Description | Paediatric clinical arrhythmology and electrophysiology developed into an important and independent subspeciality of paediatric cardiology within the last 30 years. This last edition of monography reflects the fast clinical and technological development in the field of diagnostics and treatment of arrhythmias in children and adolescents. The book in particular chapters summarizes basic knowledge about origin, recording and description of child electrocardiogram and about causes, diagnostics and treatment of arrhythmias. Finally, it focuses on the description of physiological cardiac rhythm and on particular types of arrhythmias. An extensive attachment stating, in a condensed form, physiological values of the ECG record and cardiac rhythm in children is a part of the monography.
