| Description | Text is a critical discussion of current applied social science, where a researcher often takes for granted a willing and open co-operation with NGOs and individual respondents. Theories of orientalism of E. Said are re-visited. It is argued, that while being very much aware of them while working with non-European cultures and communities, the situation is different while working with local Others, including Roma population. |
