Description Declining interest in science including Physics education is associated with teaching methods that do not meet current students’ educational needs. The most important reason is probably change of learning style of today's students, members of the computer NET-generation and detachment of educational content from everyday life. Teachers are intuitively looking for a way to teach science subjects, including Physics. Experts-researchers, by contrast, primarily concerned with research, but due to excessive professional level of communication fail to transmit their ideas to teachers. Experts talk about the gap between theory and practice. In the project EDUCOLAND we have tried through design-based research to bridge this gap by linking research community and schools. The core of the project is a web portal, which is co-created by experts-educators and teachers in schools.
