Description An important part of the treatment of stress urinary incontinence in women is a special healing gymnastics. It helps to improve the overall condition and functional status of the abdominal muscles and the pelvic floor muscles. Based on long years of experience can be clearly stated that the special healing gymnastics when the time fairly long and carried brings positive results. About a third of women did not need the operational intervention at all. In these women, mostly the weakness of abdominal muscles, pelvic floor muscles and sphincters forming the locking mechanism of the urethra were appeared. Therefore, it is necessary to focus on special exercises for these muscle groups. The exercising women are led to consciously learn to contract and relax the sphincters of the urethra and rectum which are the basis for all exercises and this strengthens the pelvic floor muscles. Regular exercise is beneficial not only to coordinate these muscle groups, but also on the abdominal, buttock, thigh and back muscles. It is advisable to practice daily for about 30 minutes. For all exercises we have to ensure in the proper movement coordination with breathing. Hops, jumps and exercises in a relaxed positions are inappropriate. Increased their intraabdominal pressure can lead to the worsening of symptoms of incontinence.
